Finally! All it took was 100+ days, a price reduction of $4000, 35 showings, 6 open houses, and 3 statues of St. Joseph- with daily prayers! Actually, once we added the St. Joseph (and the price reduction) it sold in less than 3 weeks! I'm very excited! I am finally free to really IMAGINE moving!!! Only the buyer's inspection yet to go (Monday, Jan. 30)- just one more long and pointless car trip for Zelda.
The dining room is now filling up with boxes and I must finalize the furniture move- oh, and the furniture keep/discard decision. Guess that comes first. Anyone needing any bookcases or other shelving? a tv? Wondering with a part of my brain whether everything will fit in the 10 x 10 unit I rented in November. Please, please, please, please, please.
I'm also celebrating the benign result of my recent skin and breast biopsies. Yet, another potential BUT NOW NEGATED hold up to the long awaited move.

Buy my house!
Happy New Year!
This trip downunder would get to a quicker start if I could just find a buyer! We've had one couple look at the house twice right before Christmas. They loved it, but have disappeared "looking for finanacing". We had a hurried look on the 30th. The listing agency called at 5:30 to let me know there was an agent OUTSIDE MY DOOR. (A bit creepy.) Haven't heard any feedback. ANYWAY, YOU can still buy my house! and start me on my way!
